Privacy Policy

(hereinafter referred to as the “Company" or "we") has established a privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") as follows regarding the handling of user information (hereinafter referred to as "User Information"), including personal information, in service and hardware provided by us (hereinafter referred to as the "Service"). Unless otherwise specified, the meaning of the terms in this Policy is governed by our Terms of Service.
Article 1 (Personal Information)
"Personal Information" in this Policy means Personal Information stipulated in Article 2 (1) of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, information relating to a living individual that falls under any of the following items:
(i)information containing a name, date of birth, or other identifier or the equivalent (meaning all items (excluding individual identification codes) made by writing, recording, sound or motion, or other means in a document, drawing, or electronic or magnetic record (this includes a record created in electronic or magnetic form (meaning electronic form, magnetic form, or any other form that cannot be perceived with the human senses); hereinafter the same) which can be used to identify a specific individual (this includes any information that can be easily collated with other information and thereby used to identify that specific individual);
(ii)those containing an individual identification code.
Article 2 (Information to be Acquired and Purpose of Use)
- In the case or at the time specified in each of the following items, our company acquires or will acquire in the future the user information specified in each of the following items from the user for the purpose specified in each item.

- We use Google Analytics to measure the frequency of use of the Service for the purpose of improving the Service. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous traffic data. - The Service may use Google API Service for your convenience. If the Service uses Google API Service, your data will be visible to the Service only if you consent to it on the Service. Article 3 (Revision of Purpose of Use)
- We may revise the purpose of use of Personal Information only if the revised purpose of use is reasonably considered to be related to the original purpose of use.
- Any change in the purpose of use shall be communicated to you or published on the Service as prescribed.
Article 4 (Provision of Personal Data to Third Parties)

We will not provide Personal Information to a third party without obtaining your consent in advance, except in cases set forth below:
- cases based on laws and regulations;
- cases in which there is a need to protect the life, wellbeing, or property of an individual, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the identifiable person;
- cases in which there is a special need to improve public wellbeing or promote healthy child development, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the identifiable person; or
- cases in which there is a need to cooperate with a national government organ, local government, or person entrusted thereby with performing the functions prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the identifiable person is likely to interfere with the performance of those functions.

Notwithstanding the above, in the following cases, a person receiving Personal Information is not to fall under the definition of a “third party” regarding applying the provisions of the preceding paragraph:
- In case we entrust a person with all or part of the handling of Personal Information within the scope necessary for achieving the purpose of use;
- Personal Information is provided when a person succeeds to the business due to a merger or other such circumstances;
- Personal Information is provided to specific persons who co-uses that data, and we notify you of this in advance as well as the details of that data, the extent of the co-users, the users' purpose of use, and the name and address of the person responsible for managing the personal data, and, if the co-user is a corporation, the name of its representative; or the business makes the foregoing information readily accessible to you in advance.
Article 5 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

When having received a request from you, we will disclose your Personal Information without delay; provided, however, that in cases in which such disclosure falls under any of the following, all or a part of your Personal Information may not be disclosed, and we will notify accordingly:
- (i) if disclosure is likely to harm the life, wellbeing, property, or other rights or interests of you or a third party;
- (ii) if disclosure is likely to seriously interfere with the proper implementation of our business; or
- (iii) if disclosure would violate any other law or regulation.
- Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, information other than Personal Information, such as historical information and characteristic information, will not be disclosed to you.
Article 6 (Collection and Deletion of Personal Information)
(1) If the content of your Personal Information we hold is found to be not factual, you may request us to make a correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as "Corrections" in this Article) on the content of your Personal Information.
(2) When we receive a request set forth in the preceding paragraph from you and determines that it is necessary to comply with your request, we will make Corrections to the Personal Information without delay.
(3) If we make Corrections or decides not to make Corrections based on the preceding paragraph, we will notify you of our decision without delay.
Article 7 (Ceasing of the Use of Personal Information)
(1) In case you request us the ceasing of the use of Personal Information, the deletion of Personal Information, or the ceasing of the provision of Personal Information to third parties (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Ceasing"), based on the fact that your Personal Information is used not in accordance with the purpose of use, or your Personal Information is used in a way that empowers or invokes the illegal or unjustifiable actions, we will immediately conduct a necessary investigation.
(2) If, after the investigation in the preceding paragraph, we determine that we must comply with your request, we will immediately implement the Ceasing.
(3) If we make Ceasing or decide not to make Ceasing based on the preceding paragraphs, we will notify you of our decision without delay.
(4) Notwithstanding the preceding paragraphs, if the Ceasing would require a costly expenditure or prove otherwise difficult, we may take the necessary alternative measures to protect your rights and interests.
Article 8 (Amendment of Privacy Policy)
(1) We may amend this Policy as we deem necessary.
(2) In the event of amendment of this Policy, we will publicize the amendment, the content of the amended Policy, and the effective date of the amendment through public announcements on the Service or other means prescribed by the Company or notify registered users of the amendment. However, if we are required by law to obtain your consent, we will accordingly obtain your consent in a manner prescribed by us.
Article 9 (Measures for Managing the Security of Personal Information)
We will take the necessary and appropriate measures for managing the security of Personal Information, including preventing the leaking, loss, or damage of the personal data we handle, and exercise the necessary and adequate supervision, including education, over our employees to ensure the secure management of the Personal Information.
